Highly Scented Candles

Some people are very reactive to smells, finding that their mood is lifted when a pleasing smell is present or that they have less energy when their environment is unscented. For these people, highly scented candles are one way to lift their mood and keep them running. Some candles have very strong scents, filling even a large room with the smell of fruit, flowers, or more exotic scents.

People might find that certain scents calm them; burning a candle that smells like your grandmother’s apple pie or your aunt’s flower garden might take you back to a safe place and help you relax after a hard day. Others might find that a strong fruity smelling candle reminds them of times they have eaten the food and the energy it gave them. And some people might use highly scented candles as a meditation aid, to help them find a comforting place. A candle with an exotic, flowery smell might remind someone of a wonderful Hawaiian vacation, and how happy they were at that time. Whatever the reason you might want strongly scented candles, there are many places to find them.

Even your local grocery store probably carries some candles, though they may not be as strong or come in as many scents. Household goods stores will have more choices, both of scents and types of candles. For strong scents, you might need only a small candle, a votive or a few tealights. For larger spaces, though, you might want a jar candle to fill the whole room.
